'Artful Impression' Debuts Designer Salon/Spa Wardrobe Line at TSA in San Diego

Respected salon/spa owner, cosmetologist and artist Ada Hansen has just launched 'Artful Impression', a new company and a new category of designer ready-to-wear for fashion aware salon and spa professionals. 'Artful Impression' debuted at the recent TSA (The Salon Association) Symposium in San Diego, where many TSA salon owner members gave Ada's first collection rave reviews at the 'AI' exhibit. As they looked through the style choices she designed, they envisioned various outfits and pieces (many interchangeable) not only on their own staff members but themselves, commenting on the 'quality of workmanship and sophisticated look' of the line. When they asked Ada Hansen 'who are you wearing' after noticing her own striking 'gaucho' look, her answer was "Artful Impression, of course!" – and the rest was record orders and successful launch history in the making.

Ada, together with her husband and company co-founder Todd Hansen, were thrilled at the positive response toward their first salon designer wear collection among both leading salon owners and the individual stylists, colorists, and estheticians who visited their exhibit at TSA. Ada describes their exhibit guests as 'walking away ecstatic' at the customized and current fashion looks that have never been available to them on these high fashion standards – until now.

According to Ada Hansen who has spent 25 years in the salon, spa and business world in both Florida and now Wisconsin, there has been a long-time 'image improvement need' in the professional beauty marketplace for individuals and salon staffs. She recalls that 'she always felt that something was missing' at the salon level. Her team was in the business of creating artful designs for their clients, but they had 'virtually no idea of how much their image mattered – or if they really looked like a team of professionals'.

"It was both the artist and the stylist/owner in me that inspired me to start designing beautiful but practical clothes for salon pros," said Ada.
