Sto women's jackets online p Staring!, the opening show at style Fashion Week LA 2011, helped usher in a new trend hitting Hollywood hard—rockabilly retro clothing. The red carpet event was held at the beautiful Vibiana Event and Arts Venue in downtown Los Angeles, boasting a large turnout with an impressive list of celebrities. Many of these celebrities (including Bridgette Marquette, Victoria Pratt and Tiffany Fallon) were wearing designs from Stop Staring!, a retro clothing label that is rapidly gaining popularity.
The Stop Staring! fashion show received coverage by major news channels NBC 4 and Fox News 11, with more coverage the following day on Good Day LA.
"This is her line, Stop Staring! Very, very cute stuff," said Jillian Barberie Reynolds, host of Good Day LA. "I see a lot of things I would wear. Very 40s inspired, and very pretty."
Style Fashion Week LA was held in downtown LA over March 15-18. Over the weekend, the Internet blew up with bloggers highlighting the Stop Staring! brand and designers who attended the show.
Among the crowd was none other than fashion expert Nick Verreos of Project Runway, who remarked on the new rockabilly clothing trend.
"Stop Staring! has been in business for over ten years and has grown a cult-like status with all the Diva Pin-Up and Rockabilly girls as well as A-List celebs such as Eva Mendes, Kim Kardashian and some of the Twilight girls," said Verreos. "I hear the dresses are affordable and they make them up to size 18. Hello!"
